Couch Opera Live founder. 

Australian-born Polish soprano Magda Lisek graduate from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts having completed both the Bachelor of Performing Arts, majoring in opera, and the Graduate Diploma of Music. Ms Lisek is also a graduate of the Bel Canto Voice Program Munich, Germany. She has studied in Poland with soprano Jolanta Zmurko, and in Australia with baritone Gregory Yurisich.

Magda Lisek’s roles include a wide range of the soprano repertoire from the title role in Rusalka to Jacques Ibert’s Angelique. Some highlights of her performances include Purcell’s The Fairy Queen and the soprano soloist in Antonin Dvorak’s Requiem.

Magda can often be seen on the concert platform and in recital for such companies as FREEZE FRAME OPERA, ST MARY’S CATHEDRAL, POLART in both Perth and Brisbane, and at sold out concerts at GOVERNMENT HOUSE PERTH.

Ms Lisek repertoire includes Adina (L’Elisir D’amore) Donizetti; Gilda (Rigoletto) Verdi; Blonde (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) Mozart; Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro) Mozart and Marie (La Fille du Regiment) Donizetti.

Magda Lisek is the President of MUSIC AMICA, Artistic Director of POLONIA GALA CONCERTS and is the founder of the internationally successful live streaming series COUCH OPERA LIVE.
