Polish soprano Justyna Slawiec-Korzen made her Couch Opera Live debut in the premiere episode.
Announcing Soprano Justyna Slawiec-Korzen! Justyna is a graduate of the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, as well as the SPOT drama school in Krakow. Justyna has appeared in theatres across Europe including the Mazowiecki Musical Theatre in Warsaw, the Warsaw Chamber Opera, the Silesian Opera, Theatre Basel, Tonhalle Theatre in St. Gallen, the North Bohemian Theatre of Opera and Ballet, the Tonhalle Magg in Zurich, as well as the Victoria Hall in Geneva. She has performed in concerts, operas and operettas across Europe and she has been praised for the colour of her voice and her strong portrayal of characters. Justyna’s recent repertoire includes the title role of Aida by composer Giuseppe Verdi. Other repertoire includes the title role of Halka (Moniuszko), Tatiana from Eugene Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Mimi from La Boheme (Puccini), Sister Angelica from Suor Angelica (Puccini), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Micaela from Carmen (Bizet) as well as Saffi from The Gypsy Baron (Strauss II).
