Soprano

Lousie Keast.png

Louise debuted in Couch Opera Live Episode 4.

Currently based in Melbourne, Victoria, Louise Keast is a soprano who greatly enjoys operatic & recital performance, project curation and production, and leadership in community music-making. A member of the Richard Divall Emerging Artist Programme, Louise made her company debut with Melbourne Opera in early 2020 in the role of Marzelline (Beethoven's Fidelio). During the Covid-19 pandemic, language study in German and Italian has maintained Louise's passion for the operatic artform, as she aspires to take her career overseas in the coming years. Louise's next engagement is to perform the role of Wellgunde and cover Freia in Melbourne Opera's forthcoming production of Das Rheingold (Wagner) to be held at the Regent Theatre in February 2021.
